Happy Resurrection Sunday!
This is our first Sunday of worshiping together in our building. Therefore, we are celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus! It is also Peace with Justice Sunday in the United Methodist Church.
“On Peace with Justice Sunday, the First Sunday after Pentecost, United Methodists give generously to enrich ministries of reconciliation in the United States and around the world. [It] is a faithful expression of shalom in the Bible. It calls the church to strengthen its capacity to advocate publicly in communities and nations throughout the world.”
