As a church, we collect needed items for the students and teachers at Post-Franklin Elementary School. This is done twice a year: once in the fall for basic school supplies and teacher supplies and a second time in the winter for hygiene items to keep the students and staff healthy.
Our collection in the fall begins with school supplies for K-2nd graders:
- glue sticks
- construction paper
- safety scissors
- large erasers, etc.
We also gather supplies that teacher need:
- boxes of facial tissue
- lots of hand sanitizer
- Clorox wipes
- dry erase markers and erasers
- sticky notes
- Sharpie markers, etc.
For the winter, we shift into healthy mode and collect hand sanitizer, Clorox wipes and facial tissue. We also provide hats, gloves and mittens that are donated on our Christmas Mitten Tree.
